Staying at Yutowa in Hakone was quite the family affair! While the location felt a little off the beaten path, it was just a short walk from Gora station, making our visits to the nearby Open Air Sculpture Museum and theme parks manageable. The kids loved the wide-ranging breakfast buffet, and we appreciated the local pork dish that reminded us of home. We made the most of the communal lounge area in the evenings, where free snacks and drinks created a relaxed atmosphere for families to unwind together after a day of exploring. Our spacious room and the onsen facilities were well-suited for families, allowing us to create some memorable bonding moments while soaking in the therapeutic baths. The outdoor terrace was a hit, and thankfully, the mosquitoes were unusually shy, so we could enjoy it as a family! Despite some quirks, like the tea setup and busy breakfast hours, Yutowa offered a welcoming atmosphere for both adults and children. It certainly made our vacation one to cherish!
